I was happy to see that there was no spill of wax to the outside of the candle during the spiral portion of the candle. I do wish that part lasted longer though. Im now into the wooden wick portion of the candle and I am happy to see that the melting pool is capable of burning all the way to the outside edge of the candle but I now see why it recommends no more than 4 hours of burn time. The melting pool would melt over the outside of the candle and there is no container to capture it. It would be nice to see a metal containment like a can on the wooden wick portion to allow me to burn for longer without the mess. As well, with that containment, maybe the spiral wick could be burned into the wooden wick to light it. Otherwise it's a cool candle and smells really nice. I like the sound and flicker of the wooden wick. I would love to see one that lasts longer so possibly taller or bigger around as l ordered 2 larges already. The wooden wick portion does last much longer than the spiral section which is nice
When I first took it out of the delivery box I thought it smelled “soapy”. I smells wonderful! Even when it’s not lit!
